The significance of the issues

In order to maintain sustainable development, WNC has set corporate social responsibility guidelines to meet the expectations from the stakeholders based on the principles, to communicate well, create mutual benefit and maintain peaceful co-existence with all stakeholders.

Significant stakeholders

While reviewing and adjusting WNC’s internal resources and operational strategy, we also looked at our performance in the area of corporate social responsibility. At the same time, we also discovered there is still much to improve on in regards to the communication between WNC and its stakeholders. According to the corporate social responsibility strategy map, WNC is currently between the “adjusting phase” and the “implementation management phase”. As we proactively face CSR, the opportunities to communicate with stakeholders increase as well. Therefore, we have set the following goals in order to succeed in the area of social responsibility.

Short-term goal: Enhance information transparency and strengthen communication with stakeholders.

Medium-term goal: Combines company operational strategy and core competencies to outline social responsibility regulations and to implement them, while also enhancing the quality of CSR reporting.

Long-term goal: Continuously improve on the CSR reporting and methods.
